The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nyamira West Field, is pleased to announce the Children Ministry Teachers Congress 2026, a significant gathering dedicated to the empowerment and capacity-building of children’s ministry teachers and leaders across the field. Scheduled to take place from 19th to 26th April 2026 at Nyambaria Boys Secondary School, this week-long congress aims to strengthen the spiritual and professional foundation of those entrusted with nurturing the faith of children within the church. The event underscores the vital role that children’s ministries play in the spiritual formation of the younger generation and the overall growth of the church.
Under the banner of the Children’s Ministries Department, the congress will bring together teachers, coordinators, and facilitators from various churches and districts within the Nyamira West Field. The programme has been carefully designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, skills, and spiritual insight required to effectively minister to children. Through a series of targeted sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions, delegates will explore best practices in children’s ministry, innovative teaching methodologies, and strategies for creating engaging, Christ-centered learning environments that foster spiritual growth and discipleship among young believers.

All children’s ministry teachers, coordinators, and interested church members are cordially invited to attend this important event. The registration fee is set at Ksh. 1,000 per delegate. In addition, each participating church is requested to fulfil the following requirements: 1.5 tins of maize, 3 tins of beans, 3 tins of wimbi, and 3 tins of wimbi (as listed), together with 1 stack of bananas per district. These contributions will go a long way in ensuring the smooth and successful hosting of the congress.
