We live in one of the most exciting periods in human history. Every day, billions of people connect through smartphones, social media, websites, podcasts, and artificial intelligence (AI). While technology has brought many challenges, it has also opened unprecedented opportunities for sharing the everlasting gospel with the world.
For many young Christians, especially Seventh-day Adventists, the question is no longer whether technology should be used for ministry, but how it can be used wisely and faithfully to advance God's kingdom.
Understanding AI as a Tool
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to computer systems capable of performing tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as answering questions, generating content, translating languages, analyzing information, and creating images or videos.
Like the printing press, radio, television, and the internet before it, AI is simply another tool. It is neither inherently good nor evil. Its value depends entirely on how it is used.
The Bible reminds us:
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might."
Ecclesiastes 9:10
God has always allowed His people to use available resources to accomplish His mission. Noah used technology
to build the ark. Solomon employed skilled craftsmen to construct the temple. Paul utilized the Roman road system to spread the gospel throughout the known world. Today, God has provided digital highways that connect nearly every nation on earth.
The Great Commission in the Digital Age
Jesus commissioned His followers:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations..."
Matthew 28:19–20
In the first century, reaching every nation required years of travel. Today, a single sermon, Bible study, or testimony can reach millions within minutes through digital platforms.
Social media, websites, livestreams, podcasts, and AI-powered tools have transformed evangelism into a truly global mission.
The digital world has become one of today's largest mission fields.
Practical Ways Youth Can Use AI for Evangelism

However, every answer should always be compared with Scripture.
The Bereans set the example:
"These were more fair-minded... in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so."
Acts 17:11
Even when using AI, Christians should imitate the Bereans by verifying everything with God's Word.
6. Reach People Through Social Media
Platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp have become mission fields.
Youth can share:

The Dangers Christians Must Avoid
While AI offers many opportunities, it also presents serious risks.
1. Do Not Replace Prayer with Technology
AI can generate information, but it cannot replace the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Effective ministry begins with prayer, not algorithms.
2. Beware of Misinformation
AI sometimes produces inaccurate information.
Every sermon, article, or Bible lesson should be carefully checked against Scripture.

3. Guard Your Mind
The internet contains both truth and deception.

"Whatever things are true... noble... just... pure... lovely... meditate on these things."

Christians should intentionally consume content that strengthens their faith.

AI should never be used to deceive, plagiarize, manipulate, or spread false information.

Christian witness must always reflect honesty and integrity.
AI Cannot Replace the Holy Spirit
Although AI can write articles, summarize sermons, generate videos, or answer questions, it cannot:
Only God changes hearts.

"But when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth."

Technology may deliver the message, but only the Holy Spirit brings conversion.
Preparing for Christ's Soon Return
As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe that Christ's return is near and that every believer has a role in proclaiming the Three Angels' Messages to the world.
Technology offers unprecedented opportunities to fulfill this mission. Whether through AI, social media, websites, podcasts, livestreams, or digital Bible studies, young people can become powerful ambassadors for Christ.
The Apostle Paul reminds us:
"Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31
When AI is used with wisdom, humility, prayer, and faithfulness to Scripture, it becomes another instrument for advancing God's kingdom.
Conclusion
Artificial Intelligence is not a substitute for God—it is simply a tool. Like every tool entrusted to humanity, it can be used for either good or evil. Christian youth are called to be faithful stewards of every gift God has provided.
As digital missionaries, let us use technology responsibly to proclaim the everlasting gospel, encourage those who are discouraged, teach biblical truth, and point people to Jesus Christ.
The world is connected as never before. May we use these connections to prepare hearts for the soon return of our Lord and Savior.
