No local church or field exists in isolation. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is one of the most globally organized Protestant movements in the world, and Nyamira West Field draws strength, credibility, and resources from this vast network. Ecclesiastes 4:12 wisely observes: "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken." The connection of Nyamira West Field to the East-Central Africa Division, the General Conference, and the global Adventist family is not merely organizational — it is a spiritual and strategic strength that amplifies everything the field does locally.
Being part of a global movement means that the mission of Nyamira West Field is not isolated to the hills and valleys of Nyamira and Kisii Counties — it resonates with a worldwide proclamation of the gospel. Revelation 14:6 describes an angel flying in midair with the eternal gospel to proclaim to "every nation, tribe, language and people." Nyamira West Field is one voice in that global chorus, singing the same song of salvation, judgment, and the imminent return of Jesus Christ. The local and the global are inseparable in the Adventist vision, and the field's place within this structure gives its ministry eternal significance.
The global connection also ensures
Finally, the global identity of Nyamira West Field is a source of profound hope and motivation. Revelation 7:9–10 gives us a breathtaking glimpse of the end of the story: "After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb." Nyamira West Field is contributing to that great multitude — from the sub-counties of Kisii and Nyamira, from its 39 districts and 323 churches, souls are being prepared to stand before the throne of God. This is why Nyamira West Field exists. This is why we do what we do. And this is why, by the grace of God, we will not stop until Jesus comes.
