Strategic Geographic Reach

The call to mission has always carried a geographic dimension. In Acts 1:8, Jesus commanded His disciples: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." This was not merely a spiritual instruction — it was a territorial mandate. Nyamira West Field embodies this mandate by covering a vast and strategically significant territory across five sub-counties: Masaba North and Manga in Nyamira County, and Masaba South, Kitutu Chache South, and Kitutu Chache North in Kisii County. This is our Jerusalem, our Judea, and our Samaria — and we take this calling with utmost seriousness.

The region served by Nyamira West Field is characterized by dense populations, vibrant communities, and diverse social needs. This is precisely the kind of environment in which Jesus Himself chose to minister. In Matthew 9:35–36, we read that "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." The crowded sub-counties of our territory are not a challenge to be avoided — they

are a harvest field to be entered with compassion, courage, and the full power of the gospel.

Geographic breadth also speaks to the field's commitment to leaving no soul behind. The prophet Isaiah declared in Isaiah 54:2, "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes." Nyamira West Field has answered this call by expanding its reach across county boundaries, ensuring that the gospel does not stop at administrative borders. By serving both Nyamira and Kisii Counties, the field demonstrates a Kingdom mindset that transcends political and geographical divisions, driven by the love of God for every human soul within its reach.

Moreover, the strategic location of the field's headquarters along the Nyamira–Kisii road places it at the crossroads of two significant counties, making it accessible and visible to the communities it serves. This mirrors the wisdom of Proverbs 8:2–3, where wisdom — a metaphor for the proclamation of truth — is described as standing at the crossroads, at the top of the heights, beside the gates, calling out to all who pass by. Nyamira West Field stands at such a crossroads, not merely geographically, but spiritually — a beacon of truth and hope in a region hungry for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
