Pr. Davis Nyakwara Saisi was born into a devoted pastoral family, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather, who served faithfully in ministry. He began his education at Rikenye Primary School and later attended Nyanchwa Adventist Secondary School. Sensing a strong calling to pastoral ministry, he pursued theological training in 1995 at Spice Memorial College in India, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Philosophy.
He further advanced his theological education by obtaining a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Andrews University, USA, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Religion from Kisii University.
After completing his studies, Pr. Saisi was called to serve as a district pastor in several districts, including Bumburia, Kea, Gesiaga, Esani, Riyabe, and Nyatieko. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 2007. In 2015, he was entrusted with additional leadership responsibilities as the Station Pastor Representative, a role he served in until 2023. That same year, he was elected as the Departmental Director in charge of Personal Ministries, Evangelism, Adventist–Muslim Relations, and the Adventist Men Organization for the Nyamira West Field. In the 2025 session, he was reelected to continue serving in these departments.

He is married to Yuniah Nyaboke, and together they are blessed with five children: Bonface Saisi, Sharon Anunda, Lenah Moraa, Ahithophel Anunda, and Blessed Anunda.
